Application for Task Force on Local Spay/Neuter Ordinance

Santa Barbara County residents who are 18 years or older and are interested in serving on an 11 member task force that is charged with developing proposed draft language for a local spay/neuter ordinance are asked to complete and submit an application and letter of interest. Selected task force members will serve for approximately 3 – 5 months, participate in meetings in various geographic areas of the County, tour animal shelters, and work towards a consensus draft ordinance that is brought back to the Board of Supervisors for their consideration. Completed applications along with a letter describing your personal interest in participating in this task force can be mailed or physically delivered to the following addresses:

South County: Clerk of the Board, 105 East Anapamu Street, Room 407,

Santa Barbara, CA 93101

North County: Clerk of the Board, Betteravia Government Center at 511 E Lakeside Parkway, Suite 141, Santa Maria, CA 93455. The applications must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2008.

Application packets can be mailed, dropped off in person, or e-mailed. The County cannot be responsible for late or misdirected traditional mail or e-mail.
