We, the undersigned, wish to apply for the ISPCC “Blue Shield Flag” award and declare the following to be true:

The school has completed the ISPCC’s “Shield My School” Anti-Bullying Toolkit.

There has been full completion of an action plan withprovision of proof of any activities undertaken as a result of the self-assessment process.

The school has appointed a lead person/ coordinator who will have overall responsibility within the school for all anti-bullying measures, promotion and activities.

A bullying awareness week is held at least annually which would incorporate educational components.

Installation of the “Stand-Up” Bullying Report Tool on the schools website / Facebook page has occurred, with a promotion of this facility to the school community.

The school has an up to date Anti-Bullying Policy in line with Department of Education Guidelines, highlighting how reports of bullying will be handled.
