Accent HA

/ 01282 457825 / Barrow / Applicants are not accepted from under 18’s unless they are leaving care and referred under the Children Act 1989. / They must also have a Social services Rent guarantee.
Carlisle HA / 0845 345 8500 / Carlisle / 16 – 17 year olds will be allowed on register subject to sufficient support being provided. / Currently replacing exclusion policy with suspension policy for applicants involved in ASB or serious offending
Derwent + Solway HA / 01900 607500 / Allerdale / Will consider 16-18 year olds in some situations, usually if have dependent child or that they are homeless and in priority need.
Perform the homelessness function for Allerdale. / Operate a risk assessment of serious offenders (June 2000)
Eden HA / 01768 861400 / Eden, Allerdale / 75% of allocations are offered via nominations from EDC, 25% through their own allocation policy (generally transfers).
Perform the homelessness function for Eden. / Will offer assured tenancies to 16 and 17 year olds and will wherever possible ask for a guarantor – usually parents or social services.
