Apalachee Station Pool Rules

1.  Pool Hours: 8:00 A.M.—9:00 P.M.

2.  Swim at your own risk. Visitors and spectators shall be kept separated from spaces used by bathers.

3.  Although provisions for the safety of bathers have been provided for, the Association assumes no responsibility for the safety of anyone using the pool or facilities.

4.  For the health, safety & welfare of the residents each resident be at least 18 years of age to be in the pool area, unless accompanied by an adult.

5.  Bathers shall take a cleaning shower, using warm water and soap, before entering the pool and before returning to the pool following use of the toilet.

6.  Persons having an infectious or communicable disease, which can be transmitted by water, shall be excluded from public swimming pools. Persons with open blisters or cuts shall be warned of infection and advised not to use the pool.

7.  Proper swimming attire is required, no cut offs.

8.  The Association accepts no responsibility for valuables.

9.  No glass or breakable containers are allowed in or around the pool area.

10.  No smoking in the pool area.

11.  Spitting, spouting of water, blowing the nose, etc., in the swimming pool shall be strictly prohibited.

12.  No chewing of gum will be allowed in the pool area.

13.  No food, drink, bottles or wrappers shall be permitted in the immediate area of the swimming pool or on the decks surrounding the pool.

14.  No pets, skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, or other vehicles are allowed in the pool area.

15.  No Profanity, improper behavior, intoxication or vulgar remarks are allowed.

16.  No running, boisterous or rough play, except water sports, shall be permitted in the pool enclosures, dressing rooms, shower rooms, or other areas.

17.  No loud or lewd music is to be played. Music and/or sounds from radios, CD players or similar devices may NOT be played at a volume level that will disturb other people.

18.  Children not yet toilet trained who normally wear diapers, must wear tight fitting rubber pants. Swim diapers alone are not enough! Parents are reminded that children who have been sick in the past two weeks should not swim. (Parents should wash babies’ bottoms and their hands after a diaper change with soap and water.) We only remind you of this because one “accident” will be reason to close the pool for swimming for 24 to 48 hours while we treat the problem.

19.  Guests must be accompanied by a resident family member. Maximum guest per family is four (4). Any member or guest(s) causing property damage to common area or pool will be held financially responsible.

20.  Bathers are asked when using suntan oil to place a towel on lounge chairs. (The oil stains the chairs)

21.  Homeowners are responsible for keeping restrooms clean and neat. Parents must accompany small children.

22.  Upon leaving the pool area please check the following:

Ø  Remove personal belongings.

Ø  Return chairs and lounges

Ø  Dispose of all trash to the trash containers located outside the pool fence.

23.  Last person leaving pool area must make sure pool is secure by checking the following:

Ø  Ensure the pool gate is closed and locked

Ø  Turning bathroom lights and fans off

Ø  Closing and locking bathroom doors

24.  Association members have the responsibility to enforce rules to ensure the safety of all patrons; and are legally responsible for damages caused by family or guests.

25.  Any damage or cost incurred by the Association from damages or negligence will be billed to the homeowner and will be suspended from the pool permanently. No parties are allowed due to the limited space and for the consideration of all homeowners

26.  A $50 fine may be added to your account if you are found at the pool and you are NOT in good standing with the HOA or if you are in violation of the pool rules. Please note the second time offenders may be at risk of having their rights to the pool suspended for the season in addition to fines.
