Borneoartifact item number: AT0371 A rare antique labi-labi / fresh water turtle kettle.
Origin: Brunei.
Adorn with cross influence patterns of Naga Dragon;(Chinese), Snake & Flora;(Malay) & BuahBerinjan / creeper vine;(Dayak). Rare feature: Kettle resembling a labi-labi turtle. 100% brass, will never rust.

The art of metal-casting was known in the Brunei Sultan for as long as the 16th century.
