Responsibilities:Performs three-dimensional layout of plumbing and mechanical ductwork and HVAC equipment with respect to construction documents, local, state and national codes, and maintenance clearances. Produce structural penetration, hanger location, spool fabrication sections, underground piping and over-head composite drawings packages. Composite drawings are compiled with submissions from all other trades and specialty prefabricated materials.

Projects: Performed complete project collision coordination on 3 story complete renovation and gym/auditorium addition to Wheatley Elementary School, DC. Provide weekly on-site coordination of the installation of pre-fabricated piping for Towers Crescent project, 13 story office building and underground parking garage in Falls Church, VA. Provide layout drawings for numerous school projects. Projects range from $500 to $20 million.

Position: Assistant Project Manager & Assistant Superintendent

Responsibilities:Performs project management tasks such as updating project schedules, processing submittals, assisting with the subcontractor procurement process, and subcontractor trade coordination. Project Managers are empowered with both the responsibility and authority to lead their project and resolve construction issues as the primary representative. Project Managers provide overall management direction to multiple projects; establish project objectives and policies; and maintain liaison with prime clients. Responsibilities include direct communication with owners and architects; submittal processing; procurement of subcontractors and materials; budgeting; and project scheduling.

Projects: Served as an Assistant Project Manager for the build-out of a (3) floor, 60 thousand square foot office space for CARR America. The space was occupied by the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). This space was completed in 6 month duration and cost approximately $4.5 million. The space incorporated and interactive video conferencing boardroom and a broadcast studio as well as the standard office space. I also performed the role Project Manager for a supplemental HVAC installation for the Discovery Communication’s technology center. This project was completed in ten weeks at a cost of just under $500 thousand. Three additional 10 ton AC units, two 15 ton evaporators and a dual pump package were added to serve the main editing control room. This was an “N+1” system. Given the critical nature of the room 100% redundancy was necessary. Worked as Assistant Superintendent on a new 8 story class A office building and a 4 story parking garage valued at $40 million.

Responsibilities: Assist Project Managers, Assist Site Superintendents, Field Survey of Renovation Projects, Post Construction Inspections, Process Change Orders, Process Requests of Further Information (RFI), Representative, Advocate of the Owner, Negotiate with Contractors/Subcontractors on Change Order price, quantity, and responsibility.

Projects: Paterson, NJ Public Schools Renovation and New construction; GSA Blast Mitigation and Interior Renovationat Department of State—Harry S. Truman Building.

Abilities: Analysis Change Orders and estimate impact on project schedule, project cost, maintain correct project schedule, monitor and report deficiencies of contract work, perform daily walk-thru inspections for safe work habits, crew count, and daily activities, monitor status of as-built drawing sets, drafting modifications to contract drawings, additions and credits of work.
