2015 - Annual Santa Claus Visit
Abington Lions Club
The Abington Lions Club is sponsoring their annual Santa Claus visit for Abington area children through Second Grade. On December 8-10 Santa will visit homes in Clarks Summit, Clarks Green, Chinchilla, Waverly, Glenburn, Dalton, and Newton areas and present children, whose names have been submitted, with a large coloring book and box of crayons.
To better serve the needs of the children in the community, we have defined our coverage areas and listed the night Santa will visit your home on the back of this sheet. If you do not find a location that covers your neighborhood, please send your response and we will determine if you live within our service area. Some of our schools have students who reside outside our coverage area. In most situations, other service organizations may have a similar holiday program for your family.
The Lions Club is a service organization of community-minded men and women. In addition to the Annual Santa Claus visit, Lions Clubs provide support for people with vision and hearing difficulties and sponsor other community service projects. 2015 Santa Claus Visit Schedule
Please leave your porch lights on until Santa has made his visit. For safety, animals should be tied. In the event of snow, clean sidewalks would be appreciated. Santa will make most of the visits between 5:30pm and 8:30pm. Please make note on your calendar when Santa will be visiting. He doesn’t want to disappoint anyone if they aren’t home when he arrives.
Unfortunately with Santa’s busy schedule, he can not accommodate specific times.
