 Learner is a ‘family member’2 of a UK/EU/EEA citizen AND the Learner has been ordinarily resident in the UK or the EU or EEA continuously for at least the last 3 years. / 3 year history within the UK/EU/EEAon the Application Form. Evidence of family member status.
 Learner has been ordinarily resident in UK/EU/EEA for less than 3 years, but is classed as a ‘family member’2 connected to a Principal3, where the Principal’s nationality and length of residency in the UK/EU/EEA meets the eligibility criteria (SFA Funding Rules). / History on Application Form supports status. Evidence of family member status in connection to Principal and Principal’s length of residency.
 Learner is a non UK/EU/EEA citizen who has permission granted by the UK Government to live in the UK (which is not for educational purposes) AND the Learner has been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least the last 3 years. / 3 year history on Application Form. Evidence of immigration permission/status.
 Learner has been granted by the Government the following immigration status (or the Learner is the husband, wife, civil partner or child of such a person):
 Refugee Status  Exceptional Leave to Enter or Remain
 Discretionary Leave to Enter or Remain  Humanitarian Protection
 Indefinite Leave to Enter or Remain Leave Outside the Rules / Application supports status. Evidence of immigration permission granted by Government.
