2008 Edition
62 participating companies, 5000 students registered online, 2000 visitors to the Internship Fair, and 845 internship positions are just the rough figures of the 2008 Pilot Edition of START Internship Romania.
Companies in START Internship
Following an internal study developed by Junior Achievement, over 70% of the companies having participated in the 2008 Edition consider the program necessary for training young graduates as future employees and whish to take part in future editions.
According to these companies, the students contributed with a plus of energy and outlined new perspectives on the jobs of the employees involved in the program.

Students in START Internship
Following an external study performed by Gfk Romania on students having completed an internship within the 2008 Edition of the program, half of the students declared that the program met their expectations, while 38% felt it exceeded their expectations. Asked to describe the program, students highly valued being involved in many projects (62%), dealing with practical activities (55%) and participating in trainings (37%).
Students were very satisfied with the program, as most of them (70%) would certainly recommend the program to others, and the great majority (93%) would like to participate in the 2009 Edition.
