05/18/15 – Current:Volunteers of America of Greater New Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana. Serve as a Case Manager/Job Developer for the Homeless Veterans Re-Integration Program (HVRP), providing career counseling and outreach to Veterans and civilians interested in obtaining gainful employment. Other duties include but not limited to providing career development, job search counseling and life skills preparation. Maintaining familiarity with educational and training programs, conduct regular outreach efforts with employers within the community for recruitment opportunities and matching the Veterans/civilians with the appropriate employment skill set.

02/25/15 – 04/10/15Rehabilitative Services of New Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana. Serving in the capacity as a Mental Health Team Manager with the supervision of two (2) Mental

Health Professionals and two (2) Mental Health Specialists. The duties included but

not limited to intake, assessments, intervention, treatment plans and the engagement

of clients in individual therapy either in school or home settings with the documentation

of progress notes for clients in the Magellan System. The employment concluded due

to Reduction in Force (RIF).

07/01/12- 02/22/15Drug Court Clinician, Family Service of Greater New Orleans, New Orleans,

Louisiana. Working in the capacity as a Substance Abuse Counselor for clients that

were dedicated to the intervention, treatment and recovery of their addiction for

non-violent offenders through the Criminal District Court. Other duties

included monitoring the clients’ progress by taking notes and entering those progress

notes into the Drug Court Case Management System (DCCM) throughout the course

of treatment.

05/14/10- 08/24/16Crisis Resident Advisor, Covenant House of New Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Serving in the capacity as a part-time/per diem resident advisor on the female floor

while providing counseling, guidance and mentoring to at-risk homeless young adults

while living in a group setting environment.

12/14/09 – 06/29/12Program Manager, Unity of GNO, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Serving as the Program Manager for the Shelter Plus Care Program that benefitted

at-risk homeless clients with substance abuse and mental health illnesses. Direct

supervision of one (1) Case Manager along with performing case management with

clients on a day-to-day basis to ensure that preventative and treatment measures

are being met and working in accordance to the clients’ respective needs. Other

responsibilities were the billing process for the clients’ rental units, the overall budget

JWFC/Stimulus Offers a Rewarding Summer (SOARS) Program. The position included

Louisiana. Since returning to the workforce post Katrina, current duties include

working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in

monitoring and attending meetings for the Algiers Park-n-Ride Trailer Site/temporary

housing for the company’s displaced personnel and their families, as well as other duties

assigned by the Capital Improvement consultant in facilitating all present and post cost

reimbursement factors related to this ongoing project. Employment ended due to a Reduction in Force (RIF).

01/02 – 08/05Manager Quality Assurance, Regional Transit Authority, New Orleans,

Louisiana. Responsible for assessing the information obtained from

the covert mystery ridership program in order to develop systematic

processes where programs and action plans were generated to improve

the company’s efforts towards service, market growth, customer retention

and customer satisfaction in the overall delivery of the company’s transit service

product. This position also included the day-to-day supervision of three (3)

mystery riders.
