Zoo Keeper for the Day
Our popular Zoo Keeper for the Day scheme has three different price bands; Gold, Silver and Bronze. Each category relates to a time of year and all Zoo Keeper for the Day experiences are the same length and operate in exactly the same way.The minimum age to participate is 6 years.
Gold £220 - Available on weekend dates and East Sussex school holiday dates.
Silver £175 - Available on week days during East Sussex school term time, April to September inclusive.
Bronze £135 - Available on week days during East Sussex school term time in January, February, March, October, November and December.
Drusillas Annual Members receive a 10% reduction on all Keeper for the Day experiences.*Discount only applies if a current Drusillas Annual Member is partaking in the Keeper for the Day Experience.
Our prices include –
- A 5 ½ hour one-to-one exclusive Zoo Keeper experience (10am – 3.30pm)
- A free Drusillas Park Keeper for the Day sweatshirt or polo shirt to wear throughout the day and to take home as a souvenir
- Free lunch in Explorers Café
- Reduced entry for up to 4 additional guests
- Personalised Drusillas Park name badge and certificate
Close Encounter Animal Experiences – available for one or two participants
- Our popular Close Encounter Animal Experienceshave two different price bands; Gold and Silver. The categories relate to a time of year. All Close Encounter Animal Experiences are the same length and operate in exactly the same way. Minimum age 6 years.
- In the case of two participants the cost of the second participant is half price.
- Two participants must be the same group or family, and booked at the same time.
Gold £90 - Available on weekend dates and East Sussex school holiday dates.
Silver£75 - Available on week days during East Sussex school term time.

Our prices include –
- A 30-40 minute exclusive behind the scenes experience with a Keeper
- Entry to the Park for the participant(s)and one additional guest - this would be a parent or guardian in the case of children under 16.
- Drusillas Park Close Encounter Animal Experience badge and certificate
- Entry to Drusillas Park is included for the Close Encounter participant/s. Additional (non participating) guests will require a valid day ticket.
Animal Experience Gift Vouchers
Why not treat someone you love to a gift they’ll never forget!
We have exclusive and individual gift vouchers for both Zoo Keeper for the Day and our Close Encounter Animal Experiences. These vouchers offer greater flexibility in allowing the recipient to book the date of the experience themselves*. Recipients of a Close Encounter Animal Experience voucher can also select which of our six encounters they want toenjoy. The gift voucher will be sent to you or directly to the lucky recipient along with a branded gift information pack to ensure they are suitably excited and well informed.**
*Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. **We regret lost or misplaced vouchers cannot be reissued.
