The 2012 AGM was held on Wednesday28th November. The following members were elected to Committee:

Presidents Message
This year began very well with The Royal Canberra Show being a great success we had many new exhibitors which was great to see. Show entries have continued to be lower this year and we will need to look at ways to encourage more people to show in the ACT, hopefully running a Cats of Yesteryear and the Royal Show will bring more exhibits. It is appreciated that the NSWCFA have included our show date in their calendar.
CCI has played an increasing role in the CCCA with Lorraine being elected as Secretary in November, also Lorraine and I on behalf of CCI assisted in the running of the Judges conference in Adelaide in August.
2013 will be an exciting year for CCI we, in conjunction with FCCV, will be running the CCCA National Show in Melbourne. I hope that many CCI members will volunteer to work at the show.
I would like to wish all members best wishes for 2013.

CATS OF YESTERYEAR
As part of the Canberra Centennial celebrations there will be a special section in the show open to cats seven years and over.
Entry includes judging in two rings: Yesteryear section and Ring 1. Ribbons or prizes will be awarded for Best and Runner-up Cat of Yesteryear in each Group.

Cat of the Year
Cat of the Year (COY) points have now been compiled and we would like to congratulate all winners. The COY presentation lunch be held in theLaurie Daly Room, West Belconnen Leagues Club, Hardwick Crescent,from 12.30 on the 16th February, all interested people are welcome to attend. Meals and drinks from the restaurant are at the individuals expense, for more details please contact Lorraine Vahland on 0412 593 864. Certificates and sashes (where applicable) will be presented at this lunch to the owners of the cats that have placed in the Top 5 in 2012.
