Ancient Civilisations Timeline Task
The Task:
You are to construct a timeline on a piece of A3 card which accurately places each of the following Ancient Civilisations and the period which they existed. You also need to include on the back of your poster at least 2 interesting facts about each Ancient Civilisation.
Civilisations you must include are (write their dates on line):

Stepby step:
1)Draft your timeline in your book (rule your line; make sure you space time gaps evenly; include B.C.E. and C.E.; check dates; each civilization has a start and finish date).
2)Re-draw your timeline accurately on a piece of A3 card.
3)Label each Ancient Civilisation with the period it existed.
4)Use a bracket to show the amount of time each civilisation lasted in history.
5)Stick each Ancient Civilisation onto the correct part of your timeline.
6)On the back of your timeline include at least 2 interesting facts above each civilisation (see Mrs Liersch’s weebly page –7soserli.weebly.com)
7)Add an appropriate title at the top of the page.
8)Check the marking rubric to see if you have meet the necessary criteria.
