AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION NO. 7 OF THE ORDINANCE N. 81 OF THE VILLAGE OF BIRDISLAND, RENVILLE COUNTY, MINNESOTA, RELATING TO AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE CONSTRUCTION OR ALTERATIONS OF BUILDINGS AND REQUIRING A PERMIT
THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF BIRDISLAND DO HEREBY ORDAIN THAT SECTION NO. 7, ORDINANCE NO. 81, BE AND SAME HEREBY IS, AMENDED TO REAS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION NO. 7
BUILDING PERMITS. NO person may erect any structure of any kind or add to the outside dimensions thereof, nor relocate any building already constructed or changed existing foundation thereof, within the Village Limits of Bird Island, Minnesota, with out first making application to an procuring from the Village Council a Building Permit to do so before such work is commenced. The application for the permit shall state the exact site to be occupied, including the exact distance from all property lines, as well as projected Sewer and Water Lines locations, the material, dimensions and estimated costs of the proposed structure, the purpose for which is to occupied. Such application shall show affirmatively that all work will comply with every provision of the Village Ordinances and shall be approved by the Village Council as showing such agreed compliance before the permit shall be granted, The application for a permit shall be accompanied by a Fee of $1.00 paid to the Village Clerk.
SUBSECTION OF A SECTION 7
There will be no new construction or remodeling of any structure that will result in the outside walls or roof line being less than three (3) feet from adjoining property lines, five (5) feet from alleys and thirty (30) feet from curb lines. Exceptions will be made in the business district and upon specific request to the Village Council.
