FACILITIESUPGRADE

Mr.Johnson handed out a letter from Strand Associates on the status of the Facility Planning Project. They pointed out that they contacted the Communities regarding their population projections and the communities have requested that Marathon County update the 208 Sewer Service Plan. Discussion followed.

Mr. Johnson stated that he has not heard anything from Wausau.

Mr. Johnson updated the Commission on the status of phosphorous limits.

Mr. Johnson indicated that he hopes to submit the Metros Permit Application to the DNR by the end of this month. A discuss was held.

Possible Land Purchase - Mr. Johnson stated that an offer was made and it verbally accepted. Discussion followed with Mr. Johnson noting that the purchase should be finalized by our next meeting.

MANAGER-SUPERINTENDENTS REPORT

BudgetComparison Report–Reviewed 2014 Y/E Before Audit report.

Asset/Replacement-Mr.Johnson stated that after reviewing the quotes the Metro obtained for two new trucks and tanks for sludge hauling, he would like the approval to purchase the trucks from JX Truck Center, and the tanks through Imperial Calumet for $277,118.00 with trade in. A discussion followed. After discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Olson and seconded by Mr. Wirth to accept the proposals from JX Truck Center and Imperial Calumet for a total of $277,118.00 with trade. By means of a roll call vote was unanimously passed. All voted “Yes”.
