Job Summary & Essential Functions:
Prepare financial statements, statistical reports; prepare analyses and other financial reports. Report organization’s finances to management and other suggestions about accounting matters.
- Coordinate, complete, and resolve accounting transactions in accordance with company poilicy and in compliance with all requirements related to Sarbanes Oxley
- Compute and prepare financial statements, statistical reports; prepare analyses and make recommendaitons resulting from the analyses
- Prepare supporting documentation and journal entries as directed by the Controller
- Prepare account reconcilations for general ledger accounts
- Participate with the month end closing process for cash, AR, inventory, sales, and bookings
- Coordinate accounting matters and participate in process development with other departments and locations
- Maintain/monitor fixed asset acquisitions and capital expenditure data to ensure compliance
- Generate requests for ACH transfers
- Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members
- Perform other assignments as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing terminology used in accounting activities
- Excellent written and verbal skills to interact with people at all levels and functions inside and outside ARI
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability
- Leadership skills – people management, meeting facilitation, presentation, and customer support
- People skills – customer oriented, positive attitude, and team participation
- Exceptional organization skills are required with emphasis on attention to details
- Intermediate level of computer skills in e-mail, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Best FAS Encore, together with standard PC-based accounting packages
- Database experience such as SQL server is a strong plus
- Ability to multitask efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environmentAbilities listed in General Requirements of Team Members
Required Experience / Education / Training / Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2 to 4 years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment

Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required:
- Office environment
- Periodical light manufacturing environment
- Ability to wear personal protective equiptment (PPE)
- Ability to travel other manufacturing and corporate facilities within 50 miles
