¤ 2 SCHENGEN VISA APPLICATION FORMS DULY COMPLETED AND SIGNED
¤ 2 RECENT and COLOR PASSPORT PHOTO35 X 45 mm ON A WHITE BACKGROUND
¤ A valid PASSPORT for at least 6 months from the date on which you intend to leave the SCHENGEN territory, or, in the case of multiple journeys, the date on which you intend to leave it for the last time. This document must also contain at least 2 blank pages and have been issued less than 10 years ago.
¤ FOR NON-RWANDAN NATIONALS: VALID LONG STAY VISUM OR PERMANENT RESIDENCE PERMIT IN RWANDA
¤ COPY OF PASSPORT AND PREVIOUS VISAS
¤A SCHENGEN INSURANCE (local or European)
¤ RESERVATIONOF A ROUND TRIP TICKET(no purchase without confirmation of the agreement for the visa)
¤ PROOF AND CLEAR PURPOSE OF TRAVEL (Explicit invitation or registration in a program with the name of the organization and length of stay)
¤ PROOF OF THE PROFESSIONAL SITUATION (Employee:service certificate,authorization of leave or travel clearance, last 3pay slips, statement of contributions at social security; Self-employed: certificate of domestic company registration, registration with RDB/RRA, bank statement of the company of the last 3 months; Spouse without a job: proof of income of the spouse, wedding certificate; Adult students: certificate of school attendance and re-enrollment, proof of income of parents; Minor children: birth certificate, legalized parental authorization,copy of identity of the parents, certificate of school attendance, re-enrollment, authorization of leave (if applicable), proof of income of parents; Retired: pension slip of last three months; Unemployed:motivations for return to home country: ownership of real estate, rental contract, rental perception, family situation, …)
¤PROOF OF ACCOMODATION (hotel reservation + proof of deposit, legalized certificate of accommodation; proof of ownership or rental)
¤ PROOF OF SUFFICIENT FINANCIAL MEANS IN THE COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE AND FOR THE TRIP (credit card, bank statement of last three months, proof of purchase of foreign currency or a currency account t which is regularly supplied)
OR
Legalized financial support form ( Annexe 3 bis) (see brochure guarantor) / Attestation d’accueil (France)/ Bewijs van garantstelling (Netherlands) + Carta de invitación (Spain), Migrationsverket (Sweden) etc … + copy of identity card guarantor + pay slip of the guarantor of the past 3 months (employee) or extract of the last tax roll (self-employed) + composition of family

COMMITMENT THAT CHARGE WILL BE TAKENBY AN OFFICIAL OR RECOGNIZED AGENCY: An invitation or prise en charge of a Belgian agency must contain the following sentence: “medical care, living expenses and possible repatriation shall be borne by the organization / firm / department….” And a list of names of all persons who are supported
1 – ALL DOCUEMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ORIGINAL FORM + 1 COMPLETE COPY OF EACH DOCUMENT (INCLUDING PASSPORT AND FORM)
2 – THE ABSENCE OF ONE OR MORE DOCUMENTS MAY RESULT IN THE REJECTION OF THE VISA
3 – ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS MAY ALWAYS BE REQUIRED
4 – THE HANDLING FEE SHOULD BE PAID AD SUBMISSION OF THE FILE AND WON’T BE PAID BACK IF THE VISA IS REJECTED
5 – PHYSICAL PRESENCE IS ALWAYS REQUIRED
