Praises and Petitions

August 3, 2014

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1Thessalonians 5:16-18)

We praise the Lord for 87th birthday that Gord Vork will celebrate on Tuesday. We give thanks to the Lord for the gift of life and pray for God to bless Gord with a happy birthday celebration.

Please pray for Keana Janssens as she recovers from having nasal surgery on Tuesday. We praise the Lord that the surgery went as planned and pray for a quick and full recovery.

Please pray for Joy Morren’s niece, Amanda Bouwkamp, as she recovers from a cornea transplant that she had on Tuesday. We praise the Lord that the transplant was successful! Pray now for the family as they wait to see if the surgery works to restore her vision.

Please pray for Jim Gaunce as he waits for his platelet levels to improve so that he can have bypass surgery on his heart. Pray for God’s protection to be with Jim and Doris as they continue to deal with Jim’s heart issues and his bladder cancer. Pray for God to provide for all their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Please pray for Kim Hossink as she prepares to endure chemotherapy and radiation treatments to treat the breast cancer that she has. (Kim will have chemo treatments every other week for 16 weeks and radiation treatments 5 days a week for 6 weeks). Pray for God to give Kim the strength she needs and for the treatments to work to eliminate her cancer.

Please pray for the Elders Meeting that will take place on Monday night. Pray for God to be with our Pastors and Elders as they seek God’s direction for Noordeloos Church.
