Amy (Nosbisch) Sobrino, LMSWAmy Sobrino is a licensed social worker specializing in working with families affected by cognitive impairment such as Alzheimer’s disease and other progressive dementias. Amy’s passion for working with families affected by dementia began after her own experience caring for her grandmother, who lived with Alzheimer’s disease for nearly thirteen years. She and her mother, Shannon founded Effingham Area Alzheimer’s Awareness, a not-for-profit organization in central Illinois that provides education and support for families, caregivers, and people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia. Amy is currently a part of the Memory Care Home Solutions program team, providing dementia caregiver training and counseling.

Angela Keeven, LMSW, LNHAAngela Keeven is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) who specializes in management, family therapy, person-directed care, and memory issues faced by older adults.For nearly 20 years, Angela has been working to improve the lives ofolder adults through education, training, program development,advocacy, and person-directedquality care.She is the former Director of Resident Well-Being for Parc Provence and she also worked at the National Headquarters of the Alzheimer’s Association in Chicago presenting at national aging conferences and developing training and education programs for healthcare professionals about safety issues for persons with dementia. She is currently in private practice, Own Living, LLC. Her passion to advocate for and improve the lives of older adults has made her a highly versatile professional with a broad range of expertise.

Misty L. Gonzalez, Pharm D, BCPP, Clinical Associate Professor, SIUE School of Pharmacy, Edwardsville, IL; Psychiatric Pharmacist, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Dr. Gonzalez practices psychiatric clinical pharmacy and participates in interdisciplinary teaching rounds partnered with Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University Saint Louis School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include but are not limited to treatment of severe and persistent mental illness and comorbid medical conditions.

Washington University, St. Louis Knight Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, Memory and Aging Project: Since 1979, the Memory & Aging Project at Washington University has studied intellectual functioning in persons as they age. The Memory and Aging Project (MAP) along with the Memory and Aging Project Satellite (MAPS) are at the forefront of a worldwide effort to uncover key causal factors in the development of Alzheimer disease, with a goal of developing more effective treatments and an eventual cure or prevention.
