  1. Perform disk wipe (make sure to save your feature keys)
  2. Perform Factory default on handsets (Config Set to factory defaults)
  3. Update software to latest version if needed (given by instructor)
  4. Fill in Contact information
  5. Change system time (Manually)
  6. Change WAN IP Address (given by instructor)
  7. Plug in patch cable into WAN port (connect to instructor switch for WAN)
  8. Route Outgoing calls:
  9. Local through CO lines
  10. Long Distance through SIP Proxy
  11. Create Users (given by instructor)
  12. Sales 1xx:
  13. Call route to ring phone 4 times and then xfer to voicemail
  14. Calls route to a cell phone when presence is “Away”
  15. Send an alert to the cell or PDA if extension isn’t answered
  16. Parts 1xx route to ring phone 4 times and then xfer to voicemail
  17. Assign users to your two handsets
  18. Create System Extension (given by instructor)
  19. Call Monitor Parts 2xx (including call route for final connection attempt parts voicemail)
  20. Sales Q 2xx (including call route for final connection attempt sales user voicemail)
  21. Call route set to dial another remote site AA
  22. Create System speed dials
  23. 350- 60-0x-431 (choose any remote site)

Spend time testing site to site network with other classmates before moving on to next steps:

  1. Setup Remote phone (1) to another car dealership (site of choice)
  2. Perform Office Safe back up
  3. Erase the files and settings through safe mode
  4. Restore from the saved back up
