- Perform disk wipe (make sure to save your feature keys)
- Perform Factory default on handsets (Config Set to factory defaults)
- Update software to latest version if needed (given by instructor)
- Fill in Contact information
- Change system time (Manually)
- Change WAN IP Address (given by instructor)
- Plug in patch cable into WAN port (connect to instructor switch for WAN)
- Route Outgoing calls:
- Local through CO lines
- Long Distance through SIP Proxy
- Create Users (given by instructor)
- Sales 1xx:
- Call route to ring phone 4 times and then xfer to voicemail
- Calls route to a cell phone when presence is “Away”
- Send an alert to the cell or PDA if extension isn’t answered
- Parts 1xx route to ring phone 4 times and then xfer to voicemail
- Assign users to your two handsets
- Create System Extension (given by instructor)
- Call Monitor Parts 2xx (including call route for final connection attempt parts voicemail)
- Sales Q 2xx (including call route for final connection attempt sales user voicemail)
- Call route set to dial another remote site AA
- Create System speed dials
- 350- 60-0x-431 (choose any remote site)
- 351- 9XXX-XXX-XXXX (choose any number)

Spend time testing site to site network with other classmates before moving on to next steps:
- Setup Remote phone (1) to another car dealership (site of choice)
- Perform Office Safe back up
- Erase the files and settings through safe mode
- Restore from the saved back up
