This office earlier press notification No. C/470/RNY/Catering/BG-II/ 2011 Dated 25.04.2012 has been cancelled due to some technical reason. Therefore, Applications are invited again from professional & reputed caterers for awarding catering/vending units on licensing basis at the following stations in the prescribed format given below:-

  • The applicant who applied earlier, they are requested to apply in a fresh format.
  • The application(s) received either by post or by hand after 13:00 hrs of 10.06.2016 will not be entertained under any circumstances.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1)Licence will be awarded for a period of 05 ( five ) years with a provision for renewal after every five years for a further period of 05 ( five years on satisfactory performance and payment of all dues and areas and withdrawal of court cases , if any.

2)Separate application should be submitted by the applicant for each unit. No duplicate application will be entertained.

3)Authenticated documents in support of candidate’s educational Qualification, Age Proof Certificate & Cast Certificate , proof of residence, Degree/Diploma in catering service if any, character certificate duly attested by Gazetted Officer should be submitted with the application.

4)Lump-sum License fees mentioned above is for the 1st year only and subject to revision based on actual sales turn over after expiry of one year.

5)License fee should be paid by the licensee as per Railways catering policy along with water, electrical charges and other charges. Lump sum license fees as mentioned are subject to revision based on the actual sales turn over of the units as per catering policy.

6)Lump-sum license fee will have to be deposited for one year at a time and the stall to be opened within 15 days time from the date of issue of letter of acceptance.

7)Lump-sum license fees may be increased /decreased after assessment on the basis of guideline issued by Railway Board time to time but the applicant should have to pay the license fee which is higher.

8)The vending contractor will have to be manned the stall at least in one shift, preferably in the day shift.

9)The railway administration reserved the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason what so ever.

10)The licensee itself will construct the structure of the tea stall in standard size of Modular stall measuring 5’ × 6’ x 9’ Height on the site earmarked by the Railway Administration for this purpose.

11)The issue of reservations is at present sub-judice in the Hon’ble Supreme Court. Any allotment/ extension in the case of reservations will be subject to the final order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.7513 of 2005.

iii)Solvency (The applicant should be financially solvent)

Certified by Nationalized bank mentioning minimum sum of Rs. 50,000/- in his account / 5

iv)Free from infectious disease. (The individual/partners and the employees, particularly those handling preparation of food should not be suffering from any infectious disease).

v)Relevant Caste/community certificate (for reserve categories, relevant certificate from concerned authority as a proof of being a member of certain reserve category, should be furnished).
