Alliance Solutions Group is currently seeking an experiencedSafety Specialist IIIto provide support services globally. Our growing company develops a wide array of innovative solutions to the challenges faced by our clients. We are seeking smart, adaptive people to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed team.

Successful applicants will assess andserve as a technical expert on general safety issues and act as subject matter expert for assurance of compliance with all Federal, State, Local, and NASA rules, regulations, directives, and various other instructions issued by higher authorities. The applicant shall monitor regulatory activities and notify Code SH of new and proposed regulations and their potential impact on operations. Applicant shall stay informed of new and modified laws and regulations

Provide technical consultation services, including reviewing and commenting on various technical documents and reports, engineering design drawings, plans, health and safety plans, aircraft ground safety and test plans, hazardous material licenses, material safety data sheets, specifications, policies, procedures, guidelines, handbooks concerning proposed construction projects, aircraft research projects or other projects, for soundness and compliance with applicable safety and environmental requirements. They will also provide necessary professional support to assure implementation and documentation of the Safety and Environmental Program requirements.They will collect and analyze data to learn and improve programs and services, and work with program administrators to improve policies that promote health and safety.

The successful applicant must be able to multi-task, prioritize tasks with occasional interruptions, and work beyond normal business hours when required to complete essential responsibilities.

Requirements:

•Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school in a Safety and Health related field

•Experience: 10 years of multidisciplinary experience; or a (CSP) Certified Safety Specialist or equivalent and 10 years of multidisciplinary experience; or Specialized Safety training and Certifications and 15 years of multidisciplinary experience.

•Multidisciplinary experience should include areas of expertise in Fall Protection, Aircraft Fueling/Fuel Farm Management, Mishap Investigation, Construction Safety, Explosive Safety, Cryogen Management Safety, Electrical Safety, Life Safety (Life Safety Code),and Hazard Identification and Abatement. Work Experience and or training in Pressure Vessel Systems. Experience should include leading tasks, projects and sustainability of a proactive safety program.

•Experience collecting, analyzing, interpreting and evaluating data to assess trends and developments.

•Effective communication and public speaking skills

• Preferred Qualifications:

•Expert knowledge of Safety and Health Federal, State, Local, and NASA rules, regulations

•Expertise drafting of policy, regulations, instructions, standards, and guidelines related to Safety program issues.

•Advanced experience leading, organizing, and participating in multidisciplinary teams that assess risk, conduct needs assessments, analyze data, develop content for educational programs, draft policy guidance, and evaluate outcome measures.

•Able to certify employee qualifications to perform tasks
