2017 Cross Country Championship
Date: Saturday October 14th, 2017 Time: Course Opens……….8am Location: Owens Community College 3200 Bright Road Findlay Ohio
**All vehicles should use the Bright Road entrance**
Facilities: Restrooms will be available in the south east entrance of the Owens building.
Busses/Team Camps: Please enter and exit using the Bright Road entrance. The other entrance will be closed because of runners crossing the drive at that point. Busses are asked to park in lots E and F with team camps set up in the grassy area between the busses and the finish line.
Entry Fee/Gate: There will be no entry fee. There will however be a gate admission charged as you enter Owens CC. Please notify all spectators that there will be an admission fee for the meet. We will be charging $6 for adults and $4 for students.
Entry: We will be using online entries through www.baumspage.com. Runners will not be able to participate on the day of the meet that are not entered by 1:00PM Tuesday, October 10th. If you have questions contact Brian Beining,
Course: High school will run 5000 meters around the Owens Campus. Middle school will run 2 miles around campus. Course maps are on Baumspage for you to familiarize your student athletes. Fill free to print off. We will also have 1 map in your coach’s packet on the day of the meet.
Volunteers: To help make this meet a success we are asking that each school provide two adult helpers. Please email Brian Beining the name and contact info of the helpers by Tuesday, October 10th Team Awards: Champion and Runner-Up for HS Boys & Girls teams. Individual Awards: Plaques for 1st – 14th. 1st-7th is BVC 1st Team and 8th-14th is BVC 2nd Team.
Coaches: Please pick up packets upon arrival in the Orange and Black tent by the tall building at the finish line. Awards will be handed out after the middle school races. Results will also be posted on Baumspage.com.
T-Shirts: Will be available at the meet.
Participating Schools: Cory-Rawson, Hopewell-Loudon, Liberty-Benton, Leipsic, McComb, North Baltimore, Pandora-Gilboa, Riverdale, and Van Buren.
