The Spring Triple Bill from the Woodhouse Players
Faith, deception, emancipation, and cross-dressing (and that’s just for starters) are on offer from the Woodhouse Players in April.
Top Girls –Marlene invites five women, from history and fiction, to a celebratory dinner which includes Pope Joan, and Isabella Bird the Victorian traveller. As the meal progresses we find
out about the experiences and hardships that they faced.
In All Made Up With Falsies the characters are finding the crazy mixed up city is becoming a drag. All around them there are lies and deceit, puerile fantasy and wolves in sheep’s clothing. But it’s nothing that a nice party can't fix... The trick is to spot the falsies.
Ark Life lets the audience into a day in the life of the crew of the Ark. Noah’s sons joke, argue
and find out whether they really want to spend time together as a family when they’re stuck on the deck of a particularly big boat. Find out what life was really like after the flood, with a tale of seasickness and religious arguments. And where exactly did the ants go? / The Spring Triple Bill from the Woodhouse Players
