The Election Committee duly constituted by the Executive Committee, in accordance with by-law(11) of the constitution of the Association, hereby notify the members of the association the process of election to elect the new body of office bearers for two year term starting from the date of General Body which is scheduled for 12th Dec. 2015.
2.The members of the association are required to elect following office bearers in the election.

The position of office secretary will be co-opted by the General Secretary for assistance in running day-to-day affairs of the association.
3.The Election Schedule:
- Filing of nominations- - 09-11- 2015 to 20-11-2015 (17-00 hrs)
- Withdrawal of nominations - Till 24-11-2015 (17-00 hrs)
- Elections - 03-12-2015 (10-00 hrs to 17-00 hrs)
- Announcement of Results -12-12-2015
4.The Election Officers will appoint jurisdictional Election Officers and responsible for conducting the election process in respect of the jurisdiction allotted. (which will be intimated later)
The jurisdictional Election officer of Bangalore I Commte. will be responsible for conducting elections in other formations like DRI,DGCEI,NACEN, SEZ, etc.
The jurisdictional Election Officers will make necessary arrangements including appointing Local Election Officers in their jurisdiction for smooth conducting of election process.
As per the by-laws of the association which was passed in the Spl.General Body Meeting held on 14-6-2009, (i) every member of the Karnataka Unit of the association is eligible to contest the election unless expressly barred by the General Body. (ii) further, only the members of the association who has signed the membership form and whose subscription of membership to the association is deducted from the salary as on date of election shall form the electoral college and eligible to contest and/or vote in the election. The decision of the election committee is f.inal in case of any difficulty in this regard
The nominations for candidature for members of Central Committee/Executive Committee shall be proposed and seconded by two members indicating their present place of posting.
The members intended to contest in the election for the above cited positions should file their nominations in duplicate with the Election Officers.
The elections will be held on the date specified above through secret ballet at the respective Commissionerates hqrs. and divisions(situated away from hqrs) by the respective Election Officers.
If no nominations are received within the stipulate date and time for the specified positions, the same will be placed before the General Body for co-opting as per the by-laws of the association for smooth functioning of the organization. For all matters regarding the conducting of elections and declarations of results etc., the decisions of the Election Committee is final.
