Harps North West promotes the playing, learning and enjoyment of the harp.
Tutor: Wendy Stewart
Wendy is a leading Scottish harper, world class performer and inspirational teacher whose style and repertoire encompasses both traditional music and her own compositions. She has produced 4 solo recordings and several music books and teaches all levels of student, from beginner to graduate, throughout Europe and the USA. Wendy’s musical involvement lies not only in Glencairn but as part of the Feis Rois / Youth Music Initiative to give an experience of traditional music to all primary school children in Dumfries and Galloway. Her latest CD is of her own music, inspired by Scotland’s South West.
About this Workshop
This workshop is for all levels of playing, using arrangements of Robert Burns melodies, some with a bit more complexity but still easily playable for players with some experience.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Cost: £20.00
The fee includes a £5 non-returnable deposit for HNW’s administration costs if you wish to cancel.

From the south Leave the M6 at junction 35. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A601(M) (signposted Morecambe, Carnforth). At Junction 35a roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A6 (signposted Milnthorpe). At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A6070 (signposted Burton in Kendal)
