Quiz Night– 8-30pm start
Last month’s first Quiz winners were the Hooper’s Heroes who just got home in front of The Mindbenders,and Two’s A Crowdin a tie break finish.
The winners of the second quiz were TheRobins who won in tie break with The Diddlers, The SquirrelsHoopers Heroes.

Friday Function Room Bookings
We are still taking bookings for this year so if you want to get the date you prefer don’t hesitate in contacting us now. £80 deposit will secure your date with £30 returned to you if there are no problems or damage to the room on the day.
We also cater for Sat/Sun Functions.
Friday October 6th
The Fund Raising Night in aid of MakiylaRose was a big success with the total raised still growing as the cash still comes in. There will be another one held in the club sometime in the new year. Look out for the posters advertising this event

The Section are still in training for the new season starting sometime in April 2018. They still require new signings so if there are any unattached players out there looking for a team to play for then don’t hesitate in contacting Stan Weir here in the club.

Snooker
The 1st Division team won 3 out of 4 matches played last month. They first travelled away to Old Manor and won by 61pts. They next played at home to Potshots and won by 112 pts. Then away at Central Cons they scraped home by just 1 point. Their final match of the month saw them take on WBRL at home and unfortunately couldn’t keep up their winning run losing by 110 pts.They are currently lying in 7th place having won 3 out of their 8 matches played so far.

Second Division
We have both teams in this division leading the way. Bronze Social are top with 14 points from 7 matches played. The Bronze are second with 10 points from their 8 matches so far played. First Bronze Social beat Manor Road Cons at home by 436 pts. They then travelled to Potshots and returned with the points from a 38pts win. Then away again at Old Manor they won by 67 pts. Their next match versus Great Float was postponed due to them failing to raise a team.

The Bronze team first played Old Manor away and returned with the points from an 84 pts win. They then played at home to Great Float and won by 87pts.
Next up was another home match against Potshots which they won by 95ptsTheir final match in this month was away to ManorRoad Cons which resulted in a win by 103pts.
