Responsible for all aspects of financial management, including: budgeting, securing funding from donors, implementing appopriate systems, training staff, cashflow. Also managed logistics, admin and HR systems. Member of senior IAC management team.
Mar 1998 – Nov 1998Project Accountant, Hospital Volunteers for Sudan, Omdurman, Sudan
Setting up finance systems in hospitals in northern Sudan with a Leicester based charity. Worked at 5 hospitals, training 3 finance staff in each, and implementing basic accounting systems. Adapted systems, and trained a local counterpart.

Project Manager developing IT based financial management systems for local Ministy of Defence installation. Managed a team of six people and budget of £2.6m over 3 years, to develop and implement new systems (including full data transfer). Developed training programme and manuals; trained 240 MoD staff.
