Extra Credit points can be given for doing extra performances, attending concerts outside of school, taking private lessons, or other activities at the discretion of Mrs. Theusch. There is no semester exam for choir class. The semester grade will be determined by averaging the points of the two quarter grades. (Points: A=4, A- = 3.67, B+=3.33, B=3, B- =2.67, C+=2.33, C=2, C- = 1.67, D+=1.33, D=1, D- = .67, F=0)

Example: A student earns a B in quarter one and a D in quarter two. The semester one grade would be a C because B(3 points) + D(1 point) = 4 points/2 = C(2 points).

Grade drops due to the school attendance policy are not factored into semester grades.

**NEW - Jazz Choir will be graded this year. It will be graded as pass/fail depending on attendance and participation in rehearsals and performances.**
