Dear Families,

Our classes are part of the Entrepreneurial Adventure Program. We are students that have brainstormed and determined that we would like to make a weekly breakfast club. We believe that breakfast is an important meal of the day and we need to have breakfast to think well and to learn at school. We will be providing a healthy breakfast meal to students at our school for a low price. All the profits will go Habitat for Humanity, to help families who don’t have homes.

The Entrepreneurial Adventure Program is an exciting program offered through The Learning Partnership. It is designed to assist us in developing enterprising skills. We are working with our teachers and business partner, Max Rutherford, to learn about planning, teamwork, risk management, marketing, as well as develop personal enterprising qualities.

We have written donation letters to local companies, and the delicious foods we will be serving and other items were kindly donated.

We worked together to create all the menu items, inspired by some of our favourite stories.

Kindly, return your child’s order forms with payment by Wednesday, March 23, to Room 109. This first order will include orders for Friday, March 24 AND Friday, April 1. We will be sending another order form for the remaining days (April, 8,14,22,29) of the FOOD FOR THOUGHT Breakfast Club. All orders will be delivered to your child’s classroom, after announcements. Thank you in advance for all your support and we look forward to serving healthy breakfast snacks to the children at our school!
