Send the form by e-mail to the address Kaupparaportointi(at)finanssivalvonta.fi. Upon registration of the reporting firm in the TYVI operator’s (Itella Information Oy) system by FIN-FSA, the system will send the contact person of the liable reporting firm and the technical reporting firm a username and password by e-mail and a list of key codes by mail.

If the reporting model is transfer via FTP, the reporting firm must contact the TYVI operator’s technical project manager (Janne Walli, tel. +35850 323 5853, e-mail: ) for setting up a Virtual Private Network (VPN) between the reporting firm’s system and the TYVI service.

Liable reporting firm

Liable reporting firm refers to the MiFID investment firm having executed the transactions to be reported. The liable reporting firm registers as reporting firm.

Technical reporting firm

Technical reporting firm refers to a third party delivering the report on behalf of the investment firm liable for reporting.

BIC code

BIC code under ISO 9362. The BIC code is available free of charge from the SWIFT website. Fill in the relevant form at SWIFT.

As a rule, the BIC code of the main office is entered, but foreign branches enter their own BIC code, which generally differs from the code of the main office in respect of the last three digits.
