Marking Guide for Assessment 3: Online Plant Recognition & Culture test
What you have to do
This test has 2 parts:
Part 1 In this section you will be required to identify forty (40) plants and enter the correct binomial name as it is printed on the study list. If you incorrectly identify the plant, or make a mistake in spelling/punctuation you will not be awarded any marks for that specimen
Part 2Will require you to correctly answer plant use and culture questions. This section will be comprised of a variety of types of questions, most are worth 1mark each but some are worth two Take time to read the instructions for each type so that you answer what is required.
This is an open book test. It is highly recommended that you have your unit resource handy as well as a printed copy of the plant list.
To be deemed competent in this task you must gain a mark of more than 75% in both parts. If you do not gain sufficient marks you will be able to attempt the test again.
