Whatisplagiarism?

Plagiarismisaterm usedinacademiafor passingoffotherpeople’s workas

yourown.Thisincludesmaterialorideasfromanysources,whetherwritten,onlinematerialorideasfromotherstudentsoracademicstaff.

TheUniversityofDundeeusedSafeAssignsoftwaretocheckallsubmittedcourseworkforplagiarism.Penaltiesareimposedonanyonefoundtohaveplagiarisedwhetherintentionallyornot.

Goodreferencingisthebestwaytoavoidaccusationsofplagiarism.
