Agreements reached at the meeting of 20th -24th February

Experiments:

Every school decides how to implement the experiments documented by the other schools.

Website:

We are going to change the Website, because it takes quite long to open it and place photos. We agreed to put a house with five windows on the Comenius-website. Every window has a link that brings you to their own school website. Every school designs a Comenius-Page to put their photos and texts. There also must be links that connect you with the other school websites.

We agreed to do a similar design of the Comenius-Page:

-  Comic Sans (Titles can be different)

-  Letters: dark blue

-  Background: light blue or a picture of water/drops

Water-Day:

We changed ideas what kind of actions can be done on the “Water Day”.

We decided to exchange one art work: every school designs water drops. On one side the drop is painted and on the other side the name of the child and the school is written. On the next meeting we are going to bring the drops: 20 drops for each school. They have to be laminated. The size must be round about 10 cm.

In addition, every school will design at least one umbrella. When you get the drops you will put them on your umbrella for display.

Studying water habitats, visiting local nature reserves

We agreed to bring two posters for each school to the next meeting. But not everybody will be able to do that, because some excursions will take place later. They can send the posters later or bring them to the meeting in October. On the posters the schools document how they did their excursions to local nature reserves: drawings, explanations, photos. Water habitats can be mentioned too.

It would be good to film the excursions so that we can make a film at the end of the project (summer 2009)

Next meeting

The next meeting will be in Catalonia at the time agreed in the meeting in November.

After that the next meeting will take place in Hungary in October. The Tenerife staff will ask if it is possible for them to come the first weekend. If not it will be the second weekend.
