Agreement of Training Programmes for Further Education

which is entered into between

Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences, as an institution offering training programmes in further education (hereinafter: ELTE), 1053 Budapest, Egyetem tér 1-3., represented by: ……………………………… (the head of the Faculty) on the one part,

and ………………………….., as an adult attending the training programmes (hereinafter: student) address:……………………………, born:…………………………………………… EHA Code:…………….., on the other part,

on the day hereof pursuant to the terms and conditions hereunder:

1. The discipline involved: ………………………………….. (the qualification attained through the training programme is determined by the training and graduation requirements).

Level of the training programme: further vocational training / undergraduate programme / master programme / traditional 5-year programme / by virtue of Act LXXX of 1993 on higher education, university or college programmes launched prior to 1 September 2006/ professional further training / doctoral programme / specialised training courses

4. Forms of assessment and supervision of students’ performance attending a training programme are set out in the System of Requirements for Students of ELTE (ELTE Regulations II. Volume)

5. The training programme is

6.1. ELTE is obliged to publicly disclose the extent of the tuition fee until 31 May preceding

the ensuing academic year by the usual means, i.e. by public announcement and through the RER. The annual agreement for increasing the tuition fee with respect to the subsequent academic year shall have to be signed by the students at registration, and shall have to be filed as an attachment hereof.

6.2. Students are required to pay the tuition fee due for a particular semester by cheque or – if the faculty provides a possibility – by transfer within the date specified in the announcement relating to the particular semester.

6.3. All types of fees payable by the students are set out in the System of Requirements for Students of ELTE.

7. Students who fail to pay the tuition fee subsequent to a demand of payment – unless they were not granted an extension of time for deferred payment – may not be allowed to subscribe to end-of-term examinations, to collect their course record books, to commence exams, to register for the ensuing semester, or to commence final examinations. In the event that ELTE does not provide the training programme set out in this Agreement, the tuition fee shall have to be reimbursed.

The Parties set their signature to this Agreement after having read and construed the terms hereof expressing that this Agreement reflect their true intentions in every way whatsoever.
