Sciences (2 sciences total) (Must be completed by March 1st of the admitting year)
If student has 2 high school science classes (BIO and CHM) with a “C” or better, sciences are not required. Refer to counselor interview sheet. If this requirement has not been met, then student can complete the below options:
BIO 110-Principles of Biology OR
BIO 111-General Biology I
(BIO 112 is optional but BOTH 111/112 are suggested for transfer students)
OR
CHM 090 or higher level chemistry class

PHY 110-Conceputal Physics & PHY 110A (lab) (Prereq: none)

2.0 GPA on college coursework or 2.0 high school GPA if college coursework has not been completed

_____A minimum grade of “C” in two science courses in high school or college (biology and advanced biology, chemistry, physics, or the equivalent). Suggestions: BIO 110 or CHM 090 or CHM 131 or PHY 110/110a can be used to meet one of the science requirements if requirements are not met in high school. BIO 165/168 or BIO 166/169 will not meet this requirement.
