Ag World can supply genetics for all species through live animals, embryos, or semen. We are committed to exceeding our customers’ expectations through our rigid selection process, health testing, final inspections, and follow-up service. This insures satisfied customers and Ag World's growth through word-of-mouth sales and repeat customers. Together, the employees of Ag World have built the most preferred livestock exporting business in the United States.
Each of our customers has specific and unique needs thatmust be addressed. We can fulfill those needs through our worldwide sources by supplying the genetics required to maximize production and profits for each individual customer. We are not limited by any one farm or any one country to provide the genetics you need. Ag World is your Global source for profitable genetic material.
Ag World is the international distributor for Renco Corporation. Renco is a leading manufacturer of ultrasonic pregnancy, backfat, and loin thickness testing equipment for the livestock industry for over 35 years.
In November, 2013 Ag World acquired Bio-Genics improve service and increase genetic selection for customers of both companies to meet the growing globe demand of the Goat Industry.
Predictable/Proven Genetics
The trinity of customer demand, technology, and economics drives Ag World International Corp. This is why we offer animals with generations of performance testing to insure predictability and profitability.
Dairy Cattle: All registered cattle we supply have Dairy Herd Improvement (DHI) records on the sire, dam, and their ancestors. The sire will have Type-Production Indexes (TPI). Both sire and dam have Predicted Transmitting Ability (PTA) values for protein, fat, type, and udder confirmation.
Swine: All of the farms that supply pigs to Ag World are on STAGES™, the Swine TestingAndGenetic Evaluation program of the National Swine Registry (NSR). The farms can supply Maternal Line Index (MLI), Terminal Sire Index (TSI), and Sow Productivity Index (SPI). In addition, NSR will supply Estimated Progeny Differences (EPD) for the pigs born alive (NBA), 21-day litter weight (LWT), days to 250 pounds/113.4 kg (DAYS), and backfat (BF) adjusted to 250 pounds/113.4 kg.

History of Ag World
Ag World began operations January 17, 1977. Since its beginning, Ag World has been one of the leaders in livestock exports, particularly swine, beef cattle, dairy cattle, sheep, and goats.
Bruce Cluver, Vice President of Ag World, began as Assistant Superintendent of Markets for the Illinois Department of Agriculture in charge of export promotion. Later, as General Manager of Illinois Produce International, another livestock export company, he gained experience before founding Ag World. The Illinois State University Alumni Association honored Cluver with the “Alumni Achievement Award” in 1993.
Historical Firsts and Outstanding Accomplishments
2013Supplied the first cattle to Thailand from the United States since 2003. Awarded Illinois Governor’s Export Award for outstanding accomplishments in the export of Illinois goods and services around the globe.
2012Supplied 60% of the pigs exported to China from the U.S. (10,000 head) and 30% of all pigs imported to China from all over the world.
2010Supplied over 2,200 Holstein bred heifers to Turkey
2008Supplied the first chartered 747 airplane of horses to China in history.
2007Largest exporter of rabbits from the United States. Largest supplier of purebred pigs from the U.S. to China.
2006Largest supplier of breeding swine from the United States to China.
2005Supplied first shipment of breeding swine to Haiti in over 30 years.
2004Largest supplier of Holstein-Friesian semen to Vietnam, supplying 50,000 straws. Supplied first shipment of horses and donkeys to Pakistan in over 25 years.
2003Largest supplier of breeding cattle, both dairy and beef to China, supplying 545 head.
2002Largest supplier of breeding cattle, both dairy and beef to China, supplying 256 head.
2001Supplied the first ever shipment of Holstein semen from the United States to the Government of Vietnam.
2000Became the largest supplier of breeding swine to China, supplying over 1,300 head.
1999Shippedthe largest shipment ever to the Island of Mindanao, to a private customer in Davao, Philippines- 480 swine.
1998Made the second shipment of pigs to Vietnam from the U.S. since the Vietnam Conflict. These were satisfied, repeat customers.
1997Shipped the largest shipment of breeding swine ever to the Philippines – 1,280 head to Nueva Swine Valley. Sent the government of the Philippines the largest shipment of sheep and goats in one 747 airplane - 2,042 head. Shipped the first shipment of swine breeding stock from North America to India. Exported first purebred Katahdin sheep from the United States to Thailand, and the first purebred Santa Inês sheep from Brazil to Thailand.
1996Loaded largest livestock ship ever sent from North America - 3,195 head of Holstein/Friesian bred heifers on one ship. Completed first shipment of breeding livestock from the United States to Vietnam since the Vietnamese Conflict. Largest exporter of dairy cattle from the United States.
1995Negotiated contract with the government of Turkey to supply Holstein heifers, making it the largest single breeding livestock export from the United States during the last five years. Recipient of 1995 Illinois Governors Export Award for "Continuing Export Excellence".

1993Shipped the first Water Buffalo originating in the United States to the Philippines. Sourced, selected, and supplied Barbados Blackbelly sheep from the Island of Barbados to Malaysia. Worked with the government of the Philippines on their beef cattle development program. Supplied 100% of the cattle shipped to the Philippines from the United States, including one shipload of 1,623 head. Worked with the Government of Rajasthan in Jaipur, India to develop and improve their sheep program. Supplied 100% of the sheep shipped to Jaipur from the United States, including 1,340 Rambouillet.
1992Sourced, selected, and imported the first Pietrain swine/genetics from Ireland to the United States.
1990Imported 893 head of swine from England to the United States to help set up a new "nucleus farm" here in America.
1989-1991 Largest exporter of American Brahman cattle.
1984Received "Presidents E Award" in recognition of outstanding contributions to the increase of United States trade abroad.
1982First exporter to own and develop ventilating equipment for planes flying out of Miami International Airport. Aviation history was made with 1,255 head of swine on one 747 to Singapore. Sold first breeding swine to Republic of South Africa from the United States.
1982-1983Helped develop expanded metal penning systems and "in plane" watering systems to reduce stress on animals and improve air flow. This reduced mortality drastically.
1981-1983Largest supplier of breeding swine to the Dominican Republic under their repopulation program.
1980-1983Developed the goat export business and worked with the government of the Philippines to establish their goat program. Supplied over 1,500 head of breading goats.
1980-1990Largest cattle export supplier from the United States to the Orient. Largest exporter of breeding swine from both the United States and Canada.
1978Sold first breeding swine to Peoples Republic of China from the United States.
1977-1979Worked with private individuals in Spain and the government of Hungary to develop their dairy production program. Supplied thousands of Holstein Friesian Dairy Heifers.

In November of 2013 Ag World International Corp. finalized the purchase of BIO-Genics LTD. BIO-Genics LTD is the first USDA Approved Isolation Facility and Collection Center in the United States that specializes in caprines. This creates an excellent opportunity for International and Domestic Customers interested in the greatly expanding Goat Market to source superior quality Goat Genetics. All sires have undergone rigorous health examinations and screening before ever being admitted to our facility. An entire menu of testing has been performed on each of the sires to insure that your Agricultural Departments import requirements are met. For the United States domestic market, we also offer AI clinics. These 2-day clinics are located all through the United States for instruction on proper caprine artificial insemination technique. The clinic is a small group setting that is limited to 14 participants. The classes would be beneficial for the beginning herdsman all the way through the practical and technical applications for the veterinarian. The clinics give the participants the skill set and confidence to have success with AI. We can tailor classes to meet specific needs of any group and can be outside of the USA as needed. For the United States domestic market we also offer The Semen Clearing House. It is a broker of consigned semen, accepting inventory from both privately owned and commercial tanks, regardless of the processor or species. The Semen Clearing House then makes the semen available for sale to those interested. This helps provide a safe, reliable, and convenient way of shipment and delivery of semen across the United States to both large and small producers.
