AFLAC TURN-IN SHEET
Since 1990, more than half of all bankruptcies filed in the U. S. were the result of a serious medical event. Recent changes to major medical insurance enacted under the PPACA has caused deductibles to increase and limited access to providers without paying extra. AFLAC provides policies that pay you cash beyond your medical insurance so that you can more effectively deal with these often unforeseeable added expenses, and give you more choices in your medical care.
AFLAC’s policies can be provided to you at cheaper premium rates through the School District’s benefits program than you could get directly from AFLAC. Your premiums can also be deducted from your pay on a pre-tax basis if you sign up during your initial eligibility period (deadline for new teachers and employees is September 1st) or during open enrollment in December.
Please return this flier to either Tim Doubledee (scan and email) or Katherine Elfrink as soon as possible. You may also email Tim at to arrange a meeting.
