Age Groups: Players (U15s) must be under their age group as of midnight on the 31st August prior to the tournament.

Start of Play: All teams must be on court ready to play at the stated time with at least five players. Captains should toss for the centre pass before the start of play and notify the umpires of the result.

Late Arrivals: If a team arrives late on court, for each minute late, the opposition will be awarded 2 goals if they are on court and in position to play at the correct time. If at the end of the first half the team is not on court, then the game will be given to the opposition. The umpires will be responsible for the timing of the above.

Players arriving late can join the game in a vacant position after a goal is scored and with the permission of the umpires. A reserve, playing because of the late arrival of a player, shall continue to play in that position until half time as per A.E.N.A. rules.

Match Times: A central hooter will indicate the start, half time and end of matches. However, games will start and finish on the umpires whistle. Matches will be 6 minutes each way, 30 seconds at Half time. There will be 2 minutes between rounds. Extra time will be allowed to take a penalty shot, if it has been awarded before the final whistle.

Injury/Illness: No time shall be added on for injury or illness. The substitute should take up the position of the injured player as quickly as possible;

The opposition cannot make changes at this time.

Equipment: Each team will provide a size 5 ball. YWCA will have spare Over Head Bibs if any Kit clash may occur

Conduct: A verbal warning will be issued to any person (Spectator/Coach/team member) who the umpire feels is behaving in an unacceptable manner. If problems still occur the offending party will be asked to leave the courts for that round. If it persists, the offender will be banned from the side of the courts for the rest of the day. Refusal to leave will result in the game being stopped and 5 points being awarded to the non offending team.

Umpires: Teams must provide a competent umpire (minimum C Award) who will umpire your own games for the entire day. CLUBS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN SCORE CARDS WHICH MUST CLEARLY STATE THE TEAM NAME, NUMBER/LETTER, AGE GROUP, COURT, TIME AND ROUND. Both score cards should be given to the winning captain who should take them to the score desk/Runner. Medals will be presented to the winners and runners up in each age group.

Umpires/Coaches Responsibilities: All jewellery, including charity bands, watches, and any piercing etc, must be removed and finger nails cut short.

Format: Both Senior and U15 Sections will play a round robin format. This is to ensure that everyone gets plenty of game time.

Scoring: 5 points for a win, 3 points for a draw, 1 point for the losing team if scoring over 50% of the opponents goals. In the case of a draw, positions will be decided on goal difference. If the result is still a draw then goal average will be calculated.

GOAL DIFFERENCE WILL BE INTERPRETED AS:

ie Team A goals for = 43 goals Goals Against = 38 Difference = 5

Team B goals for = 37 goals Goals Against = 33 Difference = 4
