WEDNESDAY, 10 SEPTEMBER 2008

The Lexington-Concord Chapter of AFCEA will sponsor a Golf Outing on Wednesday, 10 September 2008 at Shaker Hills Golf Course (www.shakerhills.com) in Harvard, MA. AFCEA is a non-profit association representing the professional communications, electronics, intelligence and information community. The Chapter provides a local forum in which Government and industry leaders and decision makers can meet to exchange ideas and concepts. Through functions like this golf outing, the Chapter is able to support the Chapter’s ROTC and Fellowship Awards Program.

Please submit your entry form (enclosed) and check as soon as possible. A shotgun format will be used starting at 7:30 a.m. followed by an awards dinner. The method of play will be a scramble. The number of flights will be determined by the number of players. The Commander's Trophy will be awarded to the low scramble team. As a special event, the Eugene C. Brooks Trophy will be awarded to the low scramble AFCEA Mentorship Team (defined as a team consisting of both senior and junior personnel). This is award is designed to encourage opportunities for our senior staff (both Government and Industry) to mentor our younger Military and Government civilian personnel.

Shaker Hills is one of the more picturesque courses in this area and has been the site of 2003 and 2005 US Open Qualifiers. Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Registration is available online at www.afceaboston.com. The entry fee for industry is $150.
