Advanced Training Academy Training Information
Overview:

Tina Hammond’s Advanced Training Academy offers students an all-inclusive advanced cosmetic tattoo training program set in a modern learning environment. Theprogramshave been developed to cover all the basic principles of cosmetic tattooing and are delivered in a manner consistent in providing students with the confidence to progress into the workplace and immediately apply their newly acquired skills.

Our extensive learning regimen is offered as a specialty unit with a well-planned and uniquely extended format to ensure students gain all the required skills and knowledge for a successful transition into this highly specialised field.

All courses are set up to give students the most out of their training.Prior to theirPractical training, beginner students are required to spend 100hrs learning all of the theory involved and complete the open book exams. The theory based components are accessed via our private Facebook Group, where there are a range of shorttutorials, from setting up their machine to demonstrating how to perform cosmetic tattooing.

Studentswho are new to the industry will receive their starter kit 8 weeks prior to the commencement of their course and studentsare required to practiceon the practice foam provided, learning from the tutorials on the private Facebook page. Studentsare required to send Picture and Video updates on how their practice is coming along. (Contact details will be provided with starter kit)

Practical Training is typically set up in the different blocks to give studentsthe most out of studentstraining, however for people who do not live in Brisbane other arrangements can be made to accommodate travel upon application for special consideration, via email to Tina Hammond.

Thereare 2-3 days of practical work spent on each component; eyebrows, eyeliner and lips on clients, with a one month break betweeneach componentfor independent practice on models. Once all practical training is completed, approx one month after there is 1 day for their final assessment in which studentswill complete 3 models.

Students will have fully supervised training with a fully qualified trainer and assessor, who will help them every step of the way and give studentsplenty of support through many hours of combined practical and theory training during their time with us.

Trial to check Eligibility for Course:

Not everyone is suited to becoming a Cosmetic Tattooist; it takes great skill, creativity and a steady hand. To assess whether students possess the skills to perform Cosmetic Tattooing, Students will need to send in a video of themselves drawing a brow and filling in hair strokes on the template which can be downloaded from the website (the stencil of the eyes). Students will also need to send through a picture of the completed brows.

This to ensure studentsaren’t going to waste their time and money, as if they don’t have a creative eye, it is not something that can be taught.

-A non refundable $1900 deposit or 30% of course fees (whichever is lesser) must be made when booking acourse to secure training dates and priorto us sending online access, training manual and assessment booklet. A basic starter kit will also be sent out upon receipt of a further payment of $550. This is non-refundable once the kit is sent out.

-Final payment is required no less than 2 weeks prior to course commencement date. A tax invoice will be issued 3 week prior to commencement date.
