ADVANCED EUROPEAN THEATER OF OPERATIONS “OFFICIAL ERRATA” (5 / 19 / 2002)

AETO MAP ERRATA

The Greek islands in hex E 4827, E 4927 and E 5027 should be Italian-owned and controlled, not Greek.

The German city in hex W 3023 should be Stuttgart, not Munich.

On the Axis EP Cost Table, the EP cost of an Axis Infantry Step should be 3(m = 2), not 4 (m = 3).

On all EP Cost Tables, the EP cost of a Fortification should be 3, not 2. The EP cost of a Coastal Fort should be 2, not 1.

AETO GAME PIECE ERRATA

The Finnish 3-3 infantry units should not be depicted as “mountain units”.

The reverse side (i.e., back) of the German Triton chit should read: “1D6 SEASONS NO U-BOAT ULTRA”.

The German 2-5/1 Bomber (Ju-87) should be 4-5/1, and 2-5/1 on the back (note: not to be confused with the 2-5/1 Naval-Air).

The reverse side (i.e., back) of the German 6-5/1 Bomber (Ju-87) should be 3-5/1.

The German ship Adm. Hipper, Lutzow and Pr. Eugen should each be a Heavy Cruiser (CA).

Four US 4-12/2 Bombers (B-26) should be 4-12/2, and 2-12/2 on the back.

The reverse side (i.e., front) of the UK 2-18/2 Fighter-Bomber (Mosquito) should be blank.

The UK Freyburg General should be spelled: “Freyberg”. I apologize to Bernard for the faux pas.

The Rumanian 0-8-26 Light Cruiser (CL) should be a 0-8-22.

The Turkish 1-6-24 Light Cruiser (CL) should be 0-6-28.

AETO PLAYER AID CARD ERRATA

Under the 1944 column of the Dutch order-of-battle, the 2-3 Infantry row should list “1(1)”.

Finnish order-of-battle row “3-3 Mountain” and Finnish note “(1)” should omit the word “Mountain”.

French note “(35)” should read: “Set-up in Tunisia (W 0823). This fort is not removed if France is conquered, and if Vichy France is established.”.

The French 1-9-41 CL that is listed under the 1939 column should, instead, be listed under the 1940 column.

The French 0(2)-6-48 DD that is listed under the 1939 column should, instead, be listed under the 1940 column.

French note “(24)” should read: “DeGaulle; Arrives (Spring).”.

Greek note “(2)” should read: “If Greece is conquered by Germany, this unit arrives (Autumn) in any UK controlled hex in Egypt, if Egypt is not an Axis conquest.”.

Greek note “(4)” should read: “Averoff. Set-up in portin Athens (E 4731).”.

Under the 1943 column of the Norwegian order-of-battle, the 2-3 Infantry row should list “1(1)”. Accordingly, note “(4)” should be listed following note “(3)” under the Norwegian order-of-battle, reading: “If Norway is conquered by Germany, this unit arrives (Spring) in any German home city as a German controlled unit.”.

Under the 1941 column of the UK order-of-battle, the 4-4/2 F (Hurricane) row should be note reference “(5)”.

The US note “(7)” should read: “Arrives (Autumn)”.

Soviet note “(29)” should omitthe “West HQ”.

Italian note “(17)” should omit the sentence “The East HQ may be set-up in any Italian controlled hex.”.

Under the START column of the German order-of-battle, the U-boat row should omit note reference “(17)”.

The UK ANNUAL NATIONAL ECONOMIC POINT (EP) INCOME tabulation should list the modifier “+2 per minor partner resource hex.
