Admissions to Government Nursing College, Jaipur, Government Self Finance Scheme Nursing Colleges and Private Nursing colleges (Only 50% the sanctioned seats) affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur, for the session 2016-17.

Important Dates

1.Application Form Fees

All candidates must have to pay non-refundable online application form fee of Rs. 3,000/- (Rs 1,500/- for SC/ST/PH Category candidates) + Rs. 10/- for e-Mitra service charges at any e-Mitra/CSC Network authorized by the Government of Rajasthan or using http://emitra.gov.in/.

The on-line application form fee is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-adjustable. Any plea in this matter will not be entertained.

2. ELIGIBILITY Criteria for Admission

I.For Non-Service Candidates:

To be eligible for admission to this course –

(a) The candidate must have passed B.Sc. Nursing (Basic/T&R)/ B.Sc. Nursing (Hons)/ Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from Rajasthan University of health Sciences/ University of Rajasthan/ other recognized University.

(b) The candidate should be registered nurse and registered midwife or equivalent with their respective state Nursing Registration Council.

(c) The institution from where, the candidate have pursued Baccalaureate nursing programme must be recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

(d) There would be no age limit for admission to M.Sc. Nursing course.

(e) Minimum one year of work experience after passing B.Sc. Nursing / Prior or After Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing till the last date of submission of Online Application Form to RUHS, Jaipur.

II.For In-Service Candidates:

To be eligible under in-service category (in addition to above mentioned points)

(i) The candidate should be in-service of State Government of Rajasthan.

(ii) The candidate should have completed at least two year of continuous service after regular appointed by State Government of Rajasthan. The candidate would be required to submit a certificate to the above effect duly signed by the Director, Medical & Health Service, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

RESERVATIONS

(a) 16% , 12% , 21% and 5% of total seats will be reserved for natural born candidates of SC, ST, OBC and SBC Candidates respectively (not adopted) as notified in the Presidential Order for the State of Rajasthan. Female candidates will be given reservation as per Government orders.

(b) 3% seats of the annual sanctioned intake capacity shall be filled up by candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs from 50% to 70%. Provided that in case any seat in this 3% quota remains unfilled on account of unavailability of candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs from 50% to 70% then any such unfilled seat in this 3% quota shall be filled up by person with locomotory disability of lower limbs from 40% to 50% before they are included in the annual sanctioned seats for general category candidates.

(c)Physically handicapped candidates are required to Produce and enclose a copy of Physical Disability Certificate issued by Medical Board duly constituted by the Central/State Government at the time of counseling. The valid disability certificate of the candidate from the Medical Board should not be more than 3 months old from the last date of submission of Application Forms i.e. 4/7/2016 (Monday).

(d)Out of 25 seats of Government College of Nursing, Jaipur, 10 seats are reserved for in-service regular and eligible employees of Government of Rajasthan. Out of these 10 seats, 5 seats are reserved for in-service teachers and 5 seats are reserved for those in Clinical areas of State Government.

(e) Any subsequent order of the Government of Rajasthan regarding
reservation and number of seats will be followed.

SEATS

The total number of seats in Government College of Nursing, Jaipur/ Govt. Self Finance Scheme Nursing Colleges/ Private Nursing colleges will be finalized Statutory Board at the time of counselling and same shall be notified at the time of counselling Session 2016-17.

Admission Procedure for M.Sc. Nursing 2016-17

DETAILS OF Entrance EXAMINATION – 2016

(a) The M.Sc. Nursing Entrance Examination 2016-17 shall be of the standard of B.Sc. Nursing Examination (Syllabus) of Rajasthan University of Health Sciences and shall cover all the subjects of the B.Sc. Nursing Course.

(b) There shall be one paper of 2 hours duration containing 120 multiple choice questions. Subjects to be included in the M.Sc. Nursing Entrance Examination are :-

(c) Online Examination (Computer Based) will be held on 17.07.2016 (Sunday)

(d) The allotments of Centre, Roll Nos., and seating arrangement will be at the discretion of the University.

(e) The candidate is expected to take his/her seat atleast Two Hours before commencement of the examination. Candidate coming after 15 minutes of the commencement of the examination will not be permitted to appear in the examination.

(f) Candidate will be required to produce Admit Card before he/she is allowed to enter the examination centre.

(g) No Candidate will be allowed to carry any text material (written or printed), bits of paper or any other material except the admission card inside the hall. Cellular/Mobile Phone/Pager/Calculator or any other electronic devices will not be permitted in the examination hall.

(h) The details relating to conduct of the examination (M.Sc. Nursing
Entrance 2016-17) shall be available at the RUHS website in due course.

(i) In addition to provisions laid down in Ordinance 152 to deal with cases of unfair means during the examination by the University, such candidates will also be dealt with additionally in pursuance of the Rajasthan Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair means) Act, 1992.

(j) The University shall arrange for videoography/photography of individual candidate for identification of the candidate. The candidates are required to keep their head in upright position and face the camera during this process so that their identity could be clearly established.

(k) In order to prevent impersonation, left thumb impression shall also be obtained on a biometric machine during the conduct of examination. In case left thumb impression could not be registered on the machine due to injury or some other reason, right thumb impression or impression of any finger, in case other thumb is also injured, shall be registered on the machine.

(j) No candidate will be allowed to go outside the examination hall
till the completion of the examination.

(m) There will not be any Negative Marking.

(n) The Jurisdiction of the court cases will be at Jaipur.

1. Selection Criteria

The admission will be made as per merit of Entrance Examination. In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in the examination, the Inter-se merit of such candidates shall be determined in order of preference as under:-

(l)Total Number of Attempts for passing B.Sc. Nursing; the candidate with less number of attempts shall get the preference.

(2)Date of Birth in which older age candidate will get preference over younger candidate.

(3)Candidates with Higher Marks obtained in Senior Secondary (10+2)
Examination will get preference over candidates with lower marks.

Note:- Grievance, if any, regarding ambiguities of the Question Paper have
to be communicated to Office of The Convener M.Sc. Nursing at RUHS, Jaipur next day of the Examination upto 5:00 PM.

Counselling for Allotment of Seats and Nursing College

Allotment of seats and Nursing College shall be made on the basis of Online Entrance Examination by strictly following the order of merit, seats available in each college and priority of choice. option of the college filled in on-line application form.

An amount of Rs. 10,000/- need to be deposited by Bank Challan in Oriental Bank of Commerce which will be later on adjusted in the tuition fees of the allotted college of Nursing (only for Govt. Self Finance Scheme Nursing Colleges and Private Nursing Colleges).

After allotment of college, candidates will be informed about their allotment at their email ID (if available). Candidate is required to take a printout of the allotment letter using candidate login option and report at the allotted college with this printout alongwith requisite documents, in original, and prescribed fee, by the notified date.

The non-viewing of the email about allotment information by the candidate shall not be accepted as a ground for non-reporting at the allotted college on the scheduled time and date. The candidate’s allotment will stand automatically cancelled if he/she does not report in personLY to the allotted college as per notified schedule.

No further allotments shall be made by RUHS after this allotment. Admissions on the vacant seats, shall thereafter be made by second online counseling.

IMPORTANT POINTS

• The fee is non-refundable in any case. Therefore, the candidates are advised to ensure his/her eligibility before submitting the form.
• It should be carefully noted that if the required documents/certificates are not produced, the admission will be rejected.
• The certificate to be submitted by 'In-Service' candidates must clearly indicate that the person has served the Government of Rajasthan for at least 2 years after regular selection / appointment, failing which the application form will be rejected. No addition / alteration should be made on the prescribed certificate.
• A print copy of the application form filled on line along with the required documents and University copy of e-Mitra Receipt (Slip).
• Application form of 'In-Service' candidates is required to be sent through the Director, Medical and Health Services, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Candidate should submit hard copy (Print Copy) of filling online application form along with Experience Certificate to the Registrar, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur.
• The jurisdiction of the Court Cases will be at Jaipur.

ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM FILLING PROCEDURE

Before filling the on-line application form, read the information booklet carefully ensure the eligibility and other requirements for admission as given in information booklet.

You should be very careful in filling- up the on- line application form. If any lapse is detected during the scrutiny, your candidature will be rejected at any time of admission process or even at later stage.

In case a candidate fills two or more on-line application forms, the last filled and complete application from will be considered for further processing.
