Admission Criteria for ASAM* Levels of Care

Level 0.5 / Early Intervention (one to one counseling with at-risk individuals and educational programs for first-time DUI offenders)
Client meets Level 0.5 in at least one of ASAM Dimensions 4, 5, or 6. In addition, any problems identified in dimensions 1,2, or 3 are stable or being addressed through appropriate outpatient medical or mental health services.
Level I / Outpatient Treatment (less than 6 hours per week for adolescents)
Client meets Level I specifications in all 6 ASAM Dimensions.
Level II.I / Intensive Outpatient Treatment (at least 6 hours of structured programming per week for adolescents).
Client meets Level II.I specifications in at least one of ASAM Dimensions 3, 4, 5, or 6. In addition, any problems identified in Dimensions 1 or 2 meet the stability criteria for those dimensions as articulated in ASAM PPC-2R.
Level II.5 / Partial Hospitalization (20 or more hours of clinically intensive program per week, as well as daily or near daily contact).
Client meets Level II.5 specifications in at least one of ASAM Dimensions in 1, 3, 4, 5, or 6. In addition, any problems identified in Dimension s1 or 2 meet the stability criteria for those dimensions as articulated in ASAM PPC-2R.
Level III.I / Clinically Managed Low-Intensity Residential Services.
Client meets Level III.I specifications in at least two of ASAM Dimensions 1 through 6.
Level III.5 / Clinically Managed Medium-Intensity Residential Services.
Client meets Level III.5 specifications in at least two of ASAM Dimensions 3, 4, 5, or 6.
Level III.7 / Medically Monitored High-Intensity Residential/Inpatient Treatment.
Client meets Level III.7 specifications in at least two of ASAM Dimensions 1 through 6 with at least one in Dimension 1,2,3.
Level IV / Medically Managed Intensive Inpatient Treatment.
Client meets Level IV specifications in at least one of ASAM Dimensions 1,2, or 3.

The Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations is a ASAM Level III.5 Clinically Managed Medium-Intensity Residential Service. In order to admit a client to our facility, documentation of meeting these criteria must be in place prior to admission.
