ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER – CITY ECONOMY TOURISM AND EVENTS

The Administrative Officer – City Economy Tourism and Eventsis responsible for the provision of administrative and clerical services to the City Economy, Tourism and Events Division. Specific focus will be on the annual Taste of Tasmania Festival.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate in Business Administration or similar combined with relevant administrative experience in a professional office environment. The candidate must have a high level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office along with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).

The successful candidate will also have well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail.

STALLHOLDER COORDINATOR – TASTE OF TASMANIA FESTIVAL

The Stallholder Coordinator – Taste of Tasmania Festival is responsible for the operational and administrative management of the stallholders and associated stakeholders at the Taste of Tasmania Festival.

The successful candidate will have experience working on large-scale events and festivals. Previous work with events or festivals with demonstrated experience working with food and wine providers, including a good knowledge of onsite catering requirements, operations and logistics. You must have demonstrated technical production experience and knowledge in a similar role, with the ability manage risk and respond to complex issues.

The successful candidate will also have well-developed written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage and engage stakeholders along with the capacity to work in a team environment.
