I have been asked (elected) to serve as the chapter president (of Golf Chairperson) of the ______chapter of the American Singles Golf Association (ASGA). ASGA’s purpose is to put singles together through golf. It has worked well for over 25,000 golfers throughout the U. S. over the past several years.

We’re expecting a good turnout and we would like to formally invite you and your associates at your course to attend. We’re excited about this new opportunity to meet singles and play more golf.
And for you, of course, we’re in hopes of bringing you more business!
A successful launch of an ASGA chapter is enhanced when we work directly with local golf courses. Can we ask you for some help by doing any of the following:
· Attending our upcoming Organizational Meeting (bring some brochures, business cards, etc. and we will certainly recognize you)
· Placing a small brochure display stand about ASGA in your pro shop or appropriate area
· Displaying a few of the enclosed yellow signs in locker rooms
· Providing any type of discount coupons you wish to entice individual play at your facility
· Providing a raffle item for our first meeting (free round, free golf lesson, etc.)
· Talking-up ASGA to your members who are single
· Make note of our new chapter in any outgoing newsletters, e-mails, etc. (Here’s a quick blurb you might insert into your mail-outs: Single? Play Golf? Meet new friends and play more golf with the now-forming Northern Nevada Chapter of the American Singles Golf Association. From what we’ve learned through the national association (www.SinglesGolf.com), singles will join once they realize the local chapter will actually happen. So it’s important to have a great turnout at our first meeting. Anything you can do to help that happen is certainly appreciated.
(optional) Enclosed is some additional information about ASGA. I will be following up with a phone call and setting up a date in the coming year to bring our chapter out to play your golf course at least once and possibly more throughout the 2009 season.
