Adjunct Continuing Education Instructor – Business, Human Resources & Soft Skills
Job Location: Coastal Pines Technical College - All counties in Service Delivery Area
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience/expertise in the area of curriculum taught *OR* a degree from an accredited college or university *and* completed courses comparable with the curriculum taught. Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the courses assigned. Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong work ethics and excellent verbal, written and customer service skills.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
To deliver ongoing Continuing Education Training in Business, Human Resources and Soft Skills:
· Develop program and course outlines, goals and objectives.
· Ability to administer tests and evaluate students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives.
· Request and maintain supplies and equipment and prepare required budget requests.
· Develop teaching methods and maintain management procedures and documentation.
· Maintain program certification requirements in the field of instruction.
· Meet with students, staff members and other educators to discuss students’ instructional programs and other issues impacting the progress of the students.
· Ensure safety and security requirements are met in the training areas.
· Ability to use video, audio, and other types of equipment to present lessons.
Salary/Benefits: Salary will be paid by the hour and is negotiable. This position will be as needed.
