My initial brief at Lecico PLC was to revolutionise the supply chain department and ensure scalability to delivery growth. My first task was to build and lead a team, followed by implementation of multiple systems and process. Some of the achievements are listed below:
- Building / leading a solid team

- Complete warehouse layout overhaul and standard processes introduced

My role within CTDI included all aspects of the business including Profit and Loss, Finance, Operations, Production, Customer Service, Sales, Facilities, Contracts and Purchasing.
I created and trained my team on the importance of metrics and data to provide a true reflection of KPI’s.
I was the lead SAP key user for the UK facility and am responsible for training and coaching teams.
Within CTDI, I began my career working within the support services department:
This included:
- Installing, supporting and maintaining the entire IT infrastructure.
- Planning and implementation of new systems, servers and providing first class support to the end user.
- I built a completely new infrastructure which included creating a domain, Microsoft exchange and blackberry server. All users were migrated away from a large workgroup to improve the user experience.
- Working closely with colleagues in the USA and Germany for collaboration and integration of other network’s and domains.
In January 2007 I was promoted to IT engineer, this role reported directly to the Operations Director and the Managing Director.
My final role at CTDI was Logistics and Inventory Manager, this role is working well as a good match as they both are reliant on each other in the supply chain.
I am responsible for:
- Implementing cost savings, facilities management and support of all staff within the facility.
- Ensuring our branch maintains a consistent 6% monthly profit.
- Maximise profit and provide an excellent service to internal and external customerscommunicating directly with new customers and all levels of personnel within CTDI
- Working with the sales team on RFQ’s (request for quotes)
- Working as part of the senior management team responsible for all staff within the facility. My immediate team consists of fourteen staff and indirectly fifty staff report to me..
- The development of all members of staff through coaching and training. This year I developed two team members to become supervisors and lead their teams, this was done through coaching and PDP (personal development plans).
- Improving processes to save costs and resources.

- Manage the fork truck and admin teams within the company
- Very hands on management role that consisted of managing my shift leader’s expectations and the expectation of the team.

- Supervise and lead the warehouse admin team to provide the best service and ongoing support to the rest of the team.
- Responsible for staff planning, resource planning andreportingaccurate hourly metrics and KPI results to the systems manager.
- Stood in as the system / logistics manger in manager’s absence.
- Assist the remote support team with system outages with the mainframe order system and LAN network.
Logistics Clark:
- My role covered all departments within warehouse admin / logistics. I worked on Goods In, Stock Management, Inventory, Goods Out, collation of transport paperwork.
- Supporting role to keep the warehouse assembly and fork truck teams with work to complete store orders.
- I was given the additional role of Staff Trainer within the department to train all existing staff and new team members on roles and responsibilities.
