Competition Terms and Conditions:

Addendum: Hunter’s Competition

  1. In addition to the standard 5FM Competition Terms and Conditions, the below conditions also apply forthe Hunter’s competitionconductedon behalf of Hunter’s (the promoter)on 5FM.
  2. The competition is only open to entrants 18 years of age or older.
  3. The competition takes place on The Roger Goode Show, which airs from 16h00 to 19h00, from 14 March to 18 March 2016.
  4. To participate in the competition, contestants must listen for the Hunter’s cue, that can play at any time during the show. Once the contestant hears the cue, they must call in for a chance to be entered into the draw for the chance to win the grand prize.
  5. Daily winners will also win R5000 cash per day.
  6. The grand prize will be drawn on Friday, 18 March 2016 during the Roger Goode Show.
  7. The grand prize is a trip to the Hunter’s party in paradise with 440 chinas in Mauritius for 3 days for the winner plus partner, and includes:
  8. a double ticket (winner and a china) to the Hunter’s Party in Paradise taking place in Mauritius from 14 and 17 May 2016.
  9. The Prize includes return flights to Mauritius from all major airports, accommodation for 4 days and 3 nights in Mauritius, and activities and food/refreshments as set out in the tour itinerary.
  10. The Mauritius prize does not include road travel to and from the South African airport of departure/arrival and anything not described in the prize description above. For more prize details, please visit
  11. For the Mauritius prize, winners and guests will be required to be in possession of a valid passport and must be available to travel between 14 and 17 May 2016, both dates inclusive. The Promoter will not be responsible for any flights that are delayed/missed due to the fault or negligence of the winner/s.
  12. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
  13. 5FM and the promoter accept no responsibility for any variation in the value of any prize. If a prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, 5FM and the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal value and/or specification. To the extent permitted by law: (a) 5FM and the Promoter make no representations or warranties as to the suitability of the Prize; and (b) no compensation will be payable if, for any reason, a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
  14. No additional friends or family will be allowed to partake in the Mauritius prize. Not even if paid for.
  15. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  16. All participants and the winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, its advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this promotional competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoter) and/or use of the Prize.
