The purpose of this project is to use your creativity to reinforce what we learned about Classification of Organisms. For this project, you will create a poster for any organism . You can choose an organism that lives in any part of the world and in any environment. Remember that projects count as a test grade.
Project Requirements
- You can either type this project or print VERY NEATLY.
- Your name, period, date, and “Science” must appear on the project. If you want it on the front, it must be very neat. Otherwise, just put it on the back of the poster.
- The poster must include the common name of the animal, as well as the scientific name (written using all of the rules of binomial nomenclature. See rubric for details). (Try to pick an animal that most of us are not familiar with.)
This information should stand out as the heading of your poster!
- For your animal, you must include all 8 levels of classification with a heading for each.
